Yoshka and Dreen live in a floating attic somewhere in the twentieth century. As they dream in the clouds, below bombs explode, wars break out. Their lives are lived through their art. Dreen is an artist, a brilliant cellist, Yoshka is a visual artist obsessed with trees. They are gentle men. Dreen has not seen his girlfriend, the fish from the river for many moons. He does not know that Yoshka is destroying his letters. They avoid their electrical end until the day the great worm Olgoi-Khorkhoi falls from the heavens.
This is the mystical world of Yoshka and Dreen ...from the long poem by Jude Cowan Montague. An installation built by Jude CM and Matt Armstrong.
There are artist events and workshops responding to the poem and working in the space at specific times during the week. Other viewings by appintment. Email: judemontague@outlook.com
