Oscar Droege

Here's a work by one of the artists that Clive puts on his wonderful blog about printmakers. The little known German woodcut artist, Oscar Droege. Makes me feel very Gothic, and reminds me of scenes from the car across the fields and moor, driving about Lancashire as a young girl.

Actually, maybe he isn't so little known in circles I don't move in. But he is new to me. I love his work.
