Drawing on the train
I drew on the train home for the first time in ages. I was inspired by stopping off at the Tate Modern on the way home. I popped into the Poetry and Dream gallery. What did I look at? Well, the autobiographical Louise Bourgeois drypoints, the Max Ernst grattage and a little Paul Klee in which he took a line for a walk to draw children with burdens. Inspired by this surrealism I decided to draw with my eyes shut and rather liked the results. Except I dropped my pencils all over the carriage.
