World News Vision - Steve Moyes

Thank you to Steve Moyes who came all the way from Gillingham to my little place to rehearse some World News Vision material with cello ... was a lovely afternoon and I really think we got somewhere. Looking forward to playing this live.

I gave Steve some seeds for Amish Paste Tomatoes. Hope he and I both have great success with this variety from Real Seeds.

Summer time today

Wow, what a hot day. Got some great time for gardening, had some concetrated goes at a large painting which I'm pretty pleased with so far. But failed to do my arts council application for the exhibition in November. Come on Jude, don't forget that's a priority for the weekend. Maybe I'll get time to look at it in my lunch hour tomorrow ...

Cultivating oyster mushrooms

Have just put some oyster mushroom spore in the piles of dry / damp grass clippings in the garden - and some in the garage. Hope they sprout.

In the course, I disturbed a wasp's nest in one of the piles of grass clippings. Blanaid said we should smoke them out. I look forward to that.
